Old bed is off (it's for sale if anyone is interested) Frame power washed and body sanded hopefully getting painted today.
And the mud flaps showed up, trying to keep the rocks of the new paint.

Just beware those factory mudflaps will destroy the paint in no time flat, alot of us learned that the hardway

Do they rub the paint? I always used the factory ones on the 3rd gens and they were awesome. That's why I got the factory ones for this.

They rub the paint all the way done to the metal, i trashed my oems and bought the weather tech ones which dont touch if installed correctly

What a great thread. Keep the pics coming! I've had OEM flaps for 16 months and no problem. I pulled the two front flaps off in order to install vinyl graphics. No rubbing, no paint loss. Go figure. To be safe go with the Weathertech that others here have mentioned. Truck is going to look outstanding!
