Hi,
I'm Paolo, I'm a new over the forum and I come in Italy, I'm so sorry for my english. My 2013 Dream is buy a DODGE RAM 1500 Laramie or Longhorn with a 5.7 V8 Hemi. In Italy the gasoline is so expensive ( traslated is +o- $9.5/gallon 1.9€/lt ), now the question is: What really consumes a RAM 1500 with a HEMI V8 5.7?

thanx
Paolo

I run my truck with LPG and do 1 liter 5,5 km.. (Mostly highway)
With gas i can do 1 liter 7,5 km..(Mostly highway)

But it REALLY depends on how heavy you put your right foot down !!

The '13 with its new fuel saving tech should help you, but IMO, you're better off with the V6 engine if cost of fuel is that high. I think our fuel is sitting at $3.45 a gallon right now which is up from $2.95 a gallon a few weeks ago. :(

Welcome, they are coming out with the 8-speed transmission in a couple months and they have an expected 20 mpg give or take but there haven't been any real life tests that have been released yet to the best of my knowledge

Welcome at least your Not paying 2.50 a Ltr like the Brits. So like Ace said between 13.3 and 18,2 for every 100 KM driven or between 25 and 35 Euro per 100 KM driven or 60 Miles which isn't bad cause in Canada at 109 a Liter for Midgrade it Costs me about 22 Dollars for every 100 LM or 60 Miles which is how far I have to go to Get a Coffee in the Badlands but I always peg the speedo at 130 KMPH for that Mileage when I need Caffeine just Gotta slow down when I see the Sherrif sitting in the Medium. Like the Guys said the Pennstar would be Better but what the Hell I say go for the Hemi and Hopefully you don't have road Taxes based on the Liter size of your Motor (Yep 5.7 is Metric Guys....LOL..) I worked with some Italian Navy Divers in Europe and they Have Gooochi Equipement and Clothing and are a Great Bunch to have around (Real Chick Magnets for some reason must be the accent and Charm + Sailors).

Good Luck with the Dream (Buy a Black One Too).
