Once the lift and 35s are on my truck will I have to recalibrate the speedometer? It's a 2017 1500.

If it's not running 35s already your speedo will be wrong. So I would say yes you will want to

AFMoulton I plan to ask the dealer if they will do it after they install the lift and put on the larger wheels/tires. If they're unable too I may buy a speedo recalibrator or take it to a shop that has the tool to do it. An offroad shop that changes gears, wheels and tires should be able to do it for me.

The dealer should be able to change the tire size in the BCM. That's all you need, it should be good to go after that.

When i dropped the truck with the dealer for the lift install and to have the new wheels/tires put on he said he should be able to do it for me. We'll see. If not I'll go to an offroad shop that specializes in lifts and bigger tires and have them do it.

Dealer can't do 35's, no matter how much you beg them. You need to get a speedometer calibrator form hypertech. Part number : 752501, Any offroad store can order it for you, it's about 200 bucks, but does some other semi useful things. That's what I did, and now I change it myself, can read codes too.

If the dealer has a tech with development tool access, there is a tire circumference value that can be inputted manually. WiTech only allows specific tire sizes now, no longer allows a custom value. Lame :(

Why not just leave it... you're talking about a few percent inaccuracy is all.

DiabloSport inTune can fix it (also on (2016/2017). But, it is as mentioned above a tiny fix that can cost a few hundred bucks (tuner) or around $100 at the dealer. I did it at the dealer
