I may need to pull someone out one day. is there a point to do so on the factory hitch? or is the front tow hooks my only option? i really don't like to pull people out in reverse. any thought? thanks

Get a d ring reciever
You have to be careful pulling people out from the front or back. It's very plausible to tweak you frame when doing so.

You can also use the hitch pin with the recovery strap looped through it.

I have the D ring receiver it is sweet but what I used to do before I had it was just rap tow rope around tow ball and down under where ball tightens and it is nearly unbreakable.

A rated draw bar with a rated D ring with a good snatch strap for a weight you feel good about pulling.

I just use my regular hitch and put a clevis with a hitch pin through the ball mount hole. You won't tear it up.
