My truck has a remote starter and I know it works but I'm not sure how many times I need to hit the lock button to get it to start. My key does not have the remote start button on it. I think I have to hit the lock button a couple times and hold it until it starts but I haven't been able to do it except for once. Can someone confirm how it works?

If its like the module that i have than you hit the lock button 3 times within so many seconds (depends how many seconds it was programmed too, can be anywhere from 4 to 10seconds)

Curious, with the remote start with this keyfob does it still have the window roll down option from the keyfob?

I have the factory remote start. It has its on button on the key fob. To roll the windows down its the unlock button twice holding it on the second press.

I didn't know about the roll down window option. I just tried unlock twice and holding the second time and it didn't do anything.

They removed the option to roll the windows down since too many accidentally did it.

Mine doesn't always do it but it seems like it takes 3 presses for me... Battery life seems to effect it..

And I was thinking the remote start worked off the unlock not lock...
