Hello all...

I am looking into replacing my front right hub & bearing unit. I've noticed that the OEM is made in Korea. Also, MOOG makes a replacement, Timken, etc.

I would normally just go with OEM, but they seem to have reliability issues.

Is one of the aftermarket choices better?

Thanks.

I ended up going with Timken hubs. Installing these solved my tire bounce problem.... but I still have a vibration that starts at 72mph and continues through 81mph.
I turned the driveshaft 180 *.... didn't help.
I guess next I'll replace upper lower ball joints???

Anyone have any input , help would be appreciated.

yes.
I'm taking it in for alignment check after installing hubs... so I'll have them rotate and balance again.

How many miles on the tires? How much tread left? I try to get as many miles as possible out of tires but sometimes they wear funny and can't be balanced, only option is to replace.

Quite a bit of tread left.... but if I have a bad tire , I'll replace it because the vibration annoys me.

Ball joints wouldn't cause a vibration. I would say it is the tires. They may need to be road force balanced if they haven't been.
