Saw a RAM Catch on Fire and Burn Today...

At first it looked like a radiator over-heat issue, then it progressed... What got me was these two things that looked like those little hydraulic lift assist devices, blowing off of the truck somewhere (looked like the engine bay) and arching in the air about 20'. Then, one by one the front tires exploded...

Yup, everyone was ok. It was some older woman shopping. She was standing far from it and on the phone, presumably with 911/police/fire. It drew quite the crowd. By the time the firetruck go there, a huge circle of cars and onlookers had formed about 200' from it. I think we were all expecting the thing to blow up!

There was a new Nissan Maxima parked near it, the guy looked pretty worried as he quickly got in and drove off. Thankfully the woman managed to get it to the farthest point of the lot (no ding zone) before it got out of hand.

Wow. Glad everyone was ok! Did you see the whole thing happen? Was she driving and it started smoking?

No, I just caught it from when it was just a bit of white smoke, kinda like a radiator issue, already stopped and her on the phone about 20' away...
