Pic #1 looks like my truck when the power steering hose blew and sprayed the headers with fluid...20' diameter of white smoke erupting out from under the truck...

I know a guy who had a similar thing happen in his brand new F-250.
Only had it about 3 weeks when it caught fire going down the highway.

By the time they pulled over, got out of the truck, and put some distance between themselves and it, the whole thing was engulfed in flames.
Had 3 new dirt bikes in the back too, but they couldn't get them out.

Nothing left when it was all over. Just a puddle of aluminum and a steel shell.

That is insane! Wonder if whatever happened will be covered under manufacturers warranty. Maybe a defect?

As o understand this, it will go through ins, they determine the cause and if it was a defect, they go after Chrysler. This is what I have been told, but never bothered to verify.

Years ago, I was driving on my CJ which I carried a fire extinguisher in. I stopped on rt 80 to help a guy whose Chevy was on fire. Turned out it was only a month old. The owner put his hand up and said, let burn, he didnt to deal with a repaired truck.

I heard it was caused by heat from all the horse power gain from the cold air intake. Glad no one was hurt, you can buy another truck.
