Welp, looks like someone finally fell off their rocker and decided to throw a Hellcat motor in a Ram.

I can't say his taste in ride height is appropriate, but bravo on the engine choice.

There is a company that has been doing v8 and hellcat conversions in wranglers for years now. it really cant be much different than that.

at one time you could actually get a crate hellcat motor. still might be able to

How would they have been doing hellcat swaps for years when the hellcat was released in 2015?

For most of us, it's not as much about balls, as it is money...........

Yep.

I would get rid of the Ram 1500 badges and just leave the Hellcat badge. Everyone knows it's a Ram by looking at it. Im not a fan of the blacked out lamps. Just too much black and no detail. Maybe it's just the lighting in the pics. Unless its 4WD it should be lowered and put a set of SRT wheels on it along with conversion to Hellcat brakes/calipers. The Hellcat stripe on the back came out good. I wouldn't have put the big Hellcat logo on the top of the bed cover though. Who's even gonna see that unless you're standing next to the bed but then you can just read the side stripe. Maybe he should of had a Hellcat cut out of the hood stripe instead. All just my opinion.

He should have used a rcsb 2wd. That would have been much more fun

I've been following this on Facebook. They kept a stock 8sp transmission and a stock rear axle, so I am curious to see how those hold up.

For those asking about price...you cannot buy a hellcat motor new from Dodge right now. The few used ones that I have seen have sold as complete running pallets with engine, transmission, computer, wiring harness, dash, steering wheel, etc, and they went for $30,000-$35,000 (parts only).

Definitely needs to be lowered. I would have had custom vinyl decals created too, maybe the hellcat with ram horns.

That's so stupid. For 35k I'll hand you an engine that makes twice that.
