My first post here. I bought a 2012 express this weekend and I like the truck but sometimes the steering wheel blocks my view of the speedometer needle. In my Chevy Cruze it's possible to set the electronic display on a page that shows the vehicle speed in nice big numbers. Is there a way to do this on the Ram?
I used to have a Chrysler 300 and the EVIC in that car wouldn't display speed either but there was a hidden "secret" menu that you could turn on if you press 2 of the steering wheel buttons at the same time. It was kind of a diagnostic display and you could see a bunch of stuff, like throttle position, threshold for the automatic headlights, etc. One of the items was a digital speedometer display. I was kind of hoping there was a similar secret menu display that could be turned on if you knew the way to turn it on.
