Yep. These guys kind of treated me like I am dumb. They wasted my time so now I'm wasting theirs. They think I am gonna talk to my credit union today. I'm definitely not. Not at 37k no way no how. Oh well I love my truck and I like the new features of the 2013s so perhaps I am better off waiting.

yea, them calling you was just a tactic to get you in there and hope you play their game.

That sucks. I hate dealerships that play games. If the numbers don't work, then they don't work. No reason for games.

If your willing to drive to illi I bet my dealer would make it work for you, they work hard and move mad amounts of vehicles so they are willing to make less but sell more

Sorry to hear this didn't work - best bet is to keep your current truck a couple years and trade up when you owe less than its worth.

That definitely sucks. But maybe even waiting a month or 2 till 2013 hit the lot and you might be able to get thousands more in rebates to make it work

Yeah when the '13 rams start showing up the 2012's will go for less(more rebates).

Yeah I might try if there are more rebates. I'm also just kicking around the idea of keeping my truck until the 2013s are on their way out. I like the features and new options available for the 2013 model year so I may just hold on to mine until then.

I think that's the best way to go. I want to get into that range where there's no negative equity and when I trade at least I'm breaking even. I feel like the $22,500 offered on my truck was a bit of an insult. It's got slightly under 25k miles is only a little over a year old, and it's in excellent condition. I think they were lowballing me just a little bit. I understand trade value but I know they are going to turn around and put my truck on the lot for 28-29k.

Honestly $22.5k is about right for that truck. I'd be lucky if I even got $25k for my truck since they depreciate so badly

That's a bummer. What about a used 2010 or 2011 used CC?

Can't imagine trading in on a used truck that they'd give me a deal any better. I think I've made up my mind to wait for a 2013 or 14. I think I would kick myself if I got another 11 or 12 and then see the 2013s hit the market with an honest to god 8 speed transmission. Yep, probably best to wait. 4

Yea, I think I would wait. You know the '13s or '14s will come out with something cool and you'd be kicking yourself for getting a '12.
