I'd do the drop before the wheels. :D

Well, I am unsure on the drop. I was thinkin' about just getting black wheels (love black) and selling my wheels, and cutting the rear coils to level it out for the time being. That way I don't have to mess with helper bags and all that ****

Drop. Why do you have to mess with helper bags? How often do you tow/haul?

Well, I do remodel and stuff like that, which we have a 450 for and does the towing (I don't even have the tow package) but I need to be able to load the truck with a few hundred pounds w/o bottoming out.

I too want the drop, but looking on ebay these newer 20" wheels go for a mint. I was thinking if I buy wheels-then sell mine on ebay, I could damn near be back where I started budget-wise and do a drop :********:

If I do the drop first I have nothing to make money back on to put out money on the wheels and therefore I won't be doing them.

Ah I need to make my damn mind up!

I would drop it first and then evaluate your wheel choice... IF it's what you like, then go for it, but damn. I see way too many of those wheels around these forums.

Then again, I like to break away from the trend with my stuff anyways.

I wish I wasn't so indecisive. I kinda want to drop it, I kinda want to just cut the rear springs, I kinda wanna have these wheels painted (I can get one hell of a deal on it) I kinda want to save for 22's.

Ahhh

Drop it, anything lowered always looks good, even with factory rims.

Well, I can tell you that cutting the springs is a very bad move to make! There, that help? LOL

Seriously though, cutting the factory springs isn't a good idea and I cringe every time I hear about it being done.

Wheels if they are a once in a lifetime opportunity (meaning really really good deal) then do the drop later. If the wheels are easy to come by and stay the same price then drop it.

Yeah, well that's why I haven't done it. I will have to man up and do the drop.

Wheels will come when these tires are worn out (then I can justify the added costs of upping them to 22's)

I would personally say do the wheels first... if you were going with 22's now. If not, go ahead and drop it, the factory ones look pretty good too!
