Traded the 2500 Beast... Went with a Sport!

Well Folks,

I traded the 2500 in on Friday for a left over brand new 2013. Between the deal I got with the options included and my current position with trucks... I could't walk away from this deal.

The only thing that was a real hold back on my part was the color.... This biotch is red as red can get..... But with the sport package and after a few hours of looking at it and test driving it, I really came to like it..

I was at the dealer and we were looking for a silver 2014 Sport but they couldn't get me a truck with the options I wanted in the price range I wanted.. Also my dealer couldn't find one less then 200 miles away.. but I was having to compromise every truck they found with less and less options..

They had this red one on the lot and like stated... Couldn't walk away from the deal..

The only thing this truck does not have less from being totally "loaded" is
Ventilated seats, back up camera and the air ride... It literally has everything else.

I know I'm going to catch a lot of **** for getting rid of the 2500 but I was done wit the 2500 scene and to be honest got bored with the truck. Red was not my first choice but after having it for a few days I really like it... I think with my touch of taste, it will turn out really nice.

I think your truck looks great and has awesome options. I have a fully loaded 2013 black sport except for the backup camera. It doesn't get any better than Dodge red or technically speaking I think it's flame red. I almost went with red just didn't have one in my area that was fully loaded. Great choice, you're going to love it.

You could do a little of both, lol.. I'll miss it for sure... But it's nice getting back into a 1500.. the 8 speed trany and the 3.92 limited slip rear makes it easier to cope with trading the 2500 in.

Thanks man.. It took a few hours of test drives and staring at it for long lengths of time but with the price and options I couldn't walk away. The more I drive it and see it, I really like the red.

That was me... I love looking at red trucks and cars, same with black.. Love looking at them.. but did not want to own one.... Now I have one lol.

Thanks man.. It took a lot of work to get it there and I loved that truck more than anything.. It got a ton of recognition.

I took off most of the performance parts and all of the audio.. I left the wheels and tires and fender flares and I pulled the custom painted 13 headlights from retro shop off of it. the biggest hurt was all the paint work I had done to it..... That sucked, lol.

i think thats the flame red, the deep cherry red is darker and it's kinda metallic in the sun.

Love the red, it's pretty much torch red!

I had no intention of buying a truck the day I went to the dealership. Like stated I went looking for a silver sport but the dealer did not have one nor could they find one with the options I wanted. So I figured they would have to take a few days to get the truck in before we actually made a deal.

I would have taken more things off of the truck but we made the deal on this one and I took what I could in the dealer parking lot.

I can't wait to start coming up with ideas for this one... I am leaning towards some great ideas that I think will look really good.. I'll be making a build thread soon
