I love my 2013 Sport 1500. For the past two years my dealership has been bugging me to trade it in because of the huge demand Stateside for used trucks. So, being that my truck is 4 years old and it's prime for trade-in value, and with the current incentives (0% financing for 5 years and $11,500 in incentives) we decided to go for it. This time our truck is being built to our specs instead of finding one close to what we wanted. We placed the order a week ago. I got a call from the dealership yesterday informing us our truck was being built in the next 2 weeks and should have it in about 3 weeks. That's much better than the 8-12 weeks we were originally told it would take. Needless to say I'm as excited as a kid in a candy store with a pocket full of change. :happy107:

Pretty much the same truck except this one is Granite Crystal instead of Mineral Grey. Only options we didn't order was sunroof, power pedals, trailer brake control, and rear defogger.

New options are ventilated seats and 392 gears.

Question: I bought a S&B CAI for my 13 but never got around to installing it. Will it still fit my 17?

Thanks. =)

I paid $32 for my 2013 and they gave me $24 for it on trade-in for the 2017. That with the incentives was a deal we couldn't turn down either.

Damn, 2k per year loss is nothing on a new truck! Congrats

You might want to drop a line to S&B or post that question in the engine forum. I think they changed something because they have a 13 kit and a 14 and newer kit.

I am forever trading new vehicles some with mileages of 5000, 2400, 7400 miles well you get the idea, my dealer loves me. I recently went to another RAM, Dodge dealer just for a change, bought my wife a new car and the salesman (actually not a bad guy) wants to talk about trading the 15 R/T for a SRT8 Scat Pak Challenger. I am getting older and I don't seem to have the energy for the car game like I did as a young lad.

Enjoy your new ride and happy trails to you.

Please don't let them detail it for you. They probably will do more damage to the paint than they will help it. Detailers at a dealership are usually paid the least, don't have the proper equipment nor do they have the proper training. You will be lots further ahead if you do your own detail IMHO. Congrat's on the new truck, I hope it serves you well.

My new truck had scratches from the lot, they tried to fix it today. Then they hit a sign on there way to give me back my truck. So I'm taking it to an auto shop next week for them to fix on their dime. After that no one other than me will touch my new truck. I've owned it a week and I want the dealership to burn at this point [emoji91]
