Gents,

I traded in my 2015 Express CC for a 2017 Big Horn CC. I kept the 5.7L HEMI and 4x4 but swapped the 3.21 rear for 3.92. It's an awesome drive. Exhaust sounds a little throatier to me. Is there any difference there between the years exhaust wise? 89c173ee1f66ba3d0fba751d0c3b1e0d.jpg3ecaea483f2adeb1b207449c18c5f8bb.jpg

Assuming the 5'7" box and 8 speed transmission, towing goes from 7,990 to 10,190 (according to 2017 Ram 1500 tow chart)

Nice truck btw. [emoji106] Like the color.

I went for the 6'4 box myself, with the 5.7L 6 speed, 10,080lbs.

Congrats, OP! Nice truck.

May I ask which tonneau cover was it in your new truck?

Thanks,

Congrats on the truck, I traded my 2013 CC in for a 2017 Big Horn as well, almost identical to yours. There is definitely a difference in the exhaust sound, I love the granite, great color!

Have you towed with both? Curious to see how much of a difference you'll notice.

Congrats on the new truck. I went with the 3.92's as well. I think you spin 250-300 more RPM at 70, which is no big deal. Definitely helps the in town mileage as it gets rolling easily with little throttle required.

I haven't towed with this yet. I did tow a car on a Uhaul transport with the previous truck. That was pretty stress free.

The 3.92s definitely get the power to the ground quicker. I'm getting increased SPGs.
