So yesterday I traded my Silver 2016 SLT 1500 Quad Cab for a White 2016 Tradesman Crew Cab. I got step bars, reverse camera, and storage boxes in the floor. Same engine, same miles but now I can fit my sons carseat in the back no problem. Seems like the same truck. Is there anything i'm missing? What are the differences in the SLT and the Tradesman?

The base 2016 SLT will have floor carpets, fog lamps, cloth seats, premium door panels, overhead console, power sliding rear window, passenger sun visor, chrome bumpers, better uconnect radio, body color upper facia, 17 inch aluminum wheels some chrome trim bits and pieces. Most of this you can get in a tradesman option package. The SLT V8 comes with VVT, the tradesman may not

Doesn't the crew cab have the A/C vents added as well for rear passengers?

I do know that the crew cab is MUCH bigger back there also, love my crew cab.

Rear facing car seats are the worst. We have one in both my wife's Jetta and my truck. I always drive in her car because the car seat is on the passenger side and I can't fit with the seat all the way up.

Yes it does. My daughter is loving that fact. The space in the back is much bigger. It's crazy the difference it makes.

This post reminds me of fitting 2 car seats in a 2 door ford explorer, man did that suck! I’d say you made a good choice.
