Anyone have any idea why the VIN on my Outdoorsman would list it as a SLT. I've had a dealer and Chrysler say my VIN is for an SLT not an Outdoorsman.

Does it have the two tone paint and the 17" wheels? As long as it has all the options you should be good. But I agree that it would suck to have paid for a certain truck that didn't have all the options it's supposed too. I would check on that. As while shopping for mine, I had a dealer try I tell me a Truck was a sport Laramie. And had it priced as such. In the end, it wasn't and can't be.

I think anyway. Here's how it came. Does anyone know what suspension components were changed on the outdoorsman. I know the front is supposed to sit a little higher.

The Outdoorsman is an option on the SLT. That may not be what the technical term is but here is my window sticker:

It says Outdoorsman on the top, but SLT under the base price. I don't think the suspension is any different, just some skid plates. Mine sits a little lower than other Rams I've seen. I think it's because of the 17" wheels instead of the 20's.

I was going to ask if the VIN on the window sticker matches the VIN on the truck...

The VINs do match. Mine also shows SLT with the outdoorsman package. I thought the VIN would show outdoorsman instead of SLT. To me it's like saying a Laramie is just a package add on to SLT as well. Who knows. So is there any outdoorsman that aren't SLT options?
