Washed, Polished, Sealed and Waxed the bed.

The rest of the truck is just 'washed'. We'll get there when we get there.
I just want the whole thing done before winter sets in. Poor truck.

Helped a friend clean out an apartment he had rented out.. Tenants left everything when they moved. So I used my enclosed trailer and hauled It all to the dump.. All 3400 pounds of garbage inside the trailer. She was quite the haul for the one 1500.. Registered 8.6 mpg while hauling hahaha

Spent about 2-1/2 hours cleaning and detailing the truck last night. Talk about a work out. But well worth the clean.

I washed my truck... I have to say, the 2 bucket method is awesome! First time doing that. Anyway, now that I have washed it, I'll need to do it again and wax it. I hope I can find time to do that before winter comes.

Washed it, put a second coat of Black fire Wet Diamond on for pre winter prep, installed catch can, switched oil to penzoil platinum, and got the parking sensors repaired at the dealer.

Plasti-dipped my badges, grill, rims, antenna. Antenna was still in process at time of pic.

Also changed the oil over to Amsoil. Not sure how I feel about the blacked out rims on a dark blue truck. Thoughts?

I think the rims look good on the dark blue. I did the same thing yesterday. Blacked out the wheels. I did the tailpipe tips and tailgate badge a couple days earlier. Now I just need to paint the calipers red. Below is my thread with pics.

This week I doubled the mileage on mine and went through two tanks of gas to do it. I washed it then got it filthy in the rain. Drove it 300 miles today alone but did manage 19.2 mpg (according to EVIC). Basically nothing exciting this week. Next week hope to have more to report.

I did my first road trip with my 2013 yesterday. A 400 mile total trip. What a champ! Love this truck. I'll check my new catch can in a couple of days to see if I have anything in there. Other than that, I got some fishing line to debadge, so that's my next project.

Emptied my catch can for the first time, I was suprised how much was in there. Good investment.
Also, today I'll be getting the bed of my truck rhino lined, I ordered the special adams polish drying towles, and a craven speed stubby antenna. LIttle by little...

Maybe one day I can get around to debadging this beast, and giving it a good wash and wax.

I ordered my CAI, contacted Mufflex about their muffler kit and painted my antenna black. It may not be much but I'm TDY (military term, stuck in Wichita Falls TX for school) and I'm doing what I can in a parking lot without my tools.

Ugh, I hated Sheppard AFB... I was there for tech school in 99, then tdy there multiple times as thats where the telephone school was where they offered a bunch of advanced training. Seemed like I was there every year for my entire military career.

But at least you keep plugging away at the Ram, doing what you can do with what you have available. That's we called in my time "Adapt and overcome". Good on ya!

Put the stock torque converter back in so I can send my Circle-D back to be cut, cleaned, and maybe tightened it up some(not sure yet cause I do like how hard it launches now). I'm get quick at pulling the trans. by myself on my back by myself without air tools. Had it all buttoned up in 4 hours with a lunch break in between.
