What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

Nothing... I did nothing to my truck. I have been wanting to wash it for 2 weeks now, and ordered my drying towels from Adams polishs... still haven't shown up yet, so I haven't washed the truck as I'm frustrated with the leather shammy. I'm so bummed my truck is so dirty.

Finshed the install of the OEM back-up camera.

and despite crappy instructions,
it worked on the first attempt.

Finally got my Mufflex 24 and installed it today. I'm extremely happy with it and it's exactly what I was looking for as far as volume and tone. I debated for months over the 18 and the 24 simply because I didn't want it to have the drone while in MDS. I watched a lot of YouTube videos which sort of helped but there are a lack of 24 videos. Tons of 18, 14, and deletes.
Only put about 30 miles on it today and so far and its definitely got a decent amount louder. Anyone looking for a step up from the stock exhaust but don't want it to be too loud, definitely look into the Mufflex 24 or a Magnaflow 24".

Replaced the pass side parking brake cable I toasted while that side of the exhaust was off and we towed our trailer for 6 hours :-(
At least it was only $54.

Im gonna carbon fiber my interior center dash as well as the console. It will look kinda similar to Skyror13 (see image) but I made some changes. Going to use the brown carbon fiber in the same areas he did, but also on the doors. Im using black carbon fiber to cover some straches I made on the center dash, and I already cover the chrome border around my shifter black (hated that glare). I hope I don't screw it up. Any tips please PM me.

I bought mine Saturday 10/6, so I've been happily driving it all week!! It got its bug deflector tonight. Tint, step bars, and tow receiver to be installed Monday!
Love my new Ram!

dropped off my emblems to get color matched (should get them back end of next week) started my retrofit(about to paint the projector shields) tinted my fog lights with laminx

I washed my truck today. That was cool. I'm happy to get it clean, but the stupid clear coating is starting to spider web and that sucks on my black truck. Also, I can't seem to wash bugs off my truck. I go over them over and over with my wash mitt and real soapy water, but after I rinse the soap off, bug is still there. I'm not pleased. Guess I have to get more elbow grease.

Or better bug and tar prewash spray.

Use a sealant on your paint. They'll just wipe right off with a wash mitt. I don't use the pre-wash because it's PH acid which means it removes your LSP. I'll let it soak with water while I wash the whole truck and hit it last.

Did tinting the fog lights make a big difference in lighting?

Yes it did. I never use my fogs bc I have HIDs, but if you rely on your fogs I wouldn't tint them. Reduced light output by 30% I would guess.

I bought some nice stuff on SUPER CLEARANCE at Target. Got some bug stuff prewash. for 99 cents, meguires tire shine for 99 cents and meguires interior protectant for 2.02. So a little over 4 dollars I got a BUNCH of stuff. It was awesome. I can't wait to wash my truck AGAIN!
