Haven’t had much time in the past 2 months to do anything to the truck. Added a lot of miles on it and flew from one coast to the other 3 times. I did end up passing the 50,000 mile mark on it. Before taking a 2000 mile multi state drive I adjusted my Hellwig swaybar to the front most setting to see the difference. Today I had to dedicate some time to clean it up.

I want that sticker! Where did she get it?

-K

I'll have to ask when she gets back (she took her mother out shopping for a bit.)

View attachment 159193 Just did the H11 to H9 lowbeam bulb mod in my quads an hour ago. Will get to see the results tonight.
Finished it off with a much needed bath and shine!
Not going to lie it truly is one of the best low buck changes. I threw in the 9$ bulbs sonce they were the only ones available and they are noticeably better. I could still use some fogs for lousy weather but it's a big improvement over the h11s

Just did my drive test. Noticeably brighter, pattern is right about the same. Nobody flashed me. Id say 25% better than the H11. Stood in front of the truck at 75’,50’ , 25’ and no real increase in glare. Just brighter. Still a hell of lot less than some of these vehicles with plutonium in their housings.

Right, for the cost of say I was happy. I'm sure fancier bulbs may throw more light as well. I'm a fan of projectors but not the price, I think this as well as the high beam upgrade with some quality fogs will suffice in all but the worst conditions. And you're not gonna melt eyeballs in oncoming traffic with laser beam bulbs that light wash the world.

Cost: $15.00 for 2 H9 Phillips bulbs off Amazon. 2 min of Dremel work.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way, these new vehicles are awful to be in front of or coming opposite from with these new headlamps. Even with projectors. My ecodiesel can't outrun a fart so I'm usually disgruntled until they pass

R1 Concepts Geomet rotors, drilled and slotted w/pads. Great price. I used the R1 eLine rotors on another vehicle and they would stop the Earth’s rotation if you needed to

$100 in total but worth it to me.
Side note: dealer was giving away free mudflaps so I took two sets. A little acetone will clear them up I think.
