This is EXACTLY the sort of thing im looking for. I bought my truck used and the previous owner spilled a battery in the bed of the truck. It etched the hell out of my bumper. A new one costs $500+, and to even get this one painted costs $400. Im worried about ordering the Silver color because its not a true color match to my lower two-tone paint... but the Bright White is color matched to my upper paint.... This post really has me thinking... :favorites13:

Are the seams goofy looking? Is it a nice tight fit with the factory bumper? Would you buy these again if given a 're-do' ?

Haven’t had much time in the past 2 months to do anything to the truck. Added a lot of miles on it and flew from one coast to the other 3 times. I did end up passing the 50,000 mile mark on it. Before taking a 2000 mile multi state drive I adjusted my Hellwig swaybar to the front most setting to see the difference. Today I had to dedicate some time to clean it up.

Wow! looks great! Did you use any detailing products on that or just a straight wash?

This time around it was just as simple wash. I had the truck ceramic coated so I think that is what is keeping the shine.

Started my reverse level... lowered the Bilstein 5100s down the lowest setting the other day. Installed spare rear springs with 1 cut coil today.

Bilstein 5100 fronts at 1.8 - Factory Rear Springs w/ AirLift bags 5psi

Current: Bilstein 5100s at 0 - 1 coil cut from top of spare springs w/ AirLift bags barely inflated

Not much of a difference... but the front is lower, for sure. I think I need to cut another coil, will drive it a week before I decide.

Finally got in my PJX bi led projectors straight from Chinatown (only paid $135 when theretrofitsource is charging $280 for a rebrand by Profile) and put in an order for a set of replacement projector housings so I don’t have to rip apart my OEM. Getting ready for a retrofit when they come in.

Also did an oil change and didn’t spill a drop...

See my post in the detailing forms about C2v3 sort of a poor man's ceramic coating but it works well

Keep forgetting to post... had a buddy ruin the finish on my flares “helping” me wash it a while back. Took them off, as I sold them to a member here.

Haven’t painted my new ones yet.

Getting ready to head to Houston for business later this week. How best to get a chance to meet a few of you guys?? Gonna be loading up some parts that I’ll post for sale later on too, to sell while I’m there!
