Ordered the upper glovebox kit from the dealer (only $7 more than best online) and it will be here tomorrow morning. Got some MDF to make a platform to put in the back for the 2 German Shepherds. Also picked up a tire weight pliers when I take off the cladding on the wheels. I was going to do everything today, but the when the doc told me I have Diabetes (T2), kinda took the spring out of my step. I will just start in the morning.

That thing would be perfect if it didn't have the logo text on it. With the logo text it reminds me of the Hotwheels yo-yo I had as a kid. Mind you, that was a really nice Duncan made butterfly style yo-yo.... :)

I just did the tailgate bar too. What 3 Rd brake light seal did you get. I went to the dealership today to get one. They couldn't find an individual part number,

I am going with the tried and true method of the MD 01033 weather seal

I noticed the rear brake pads were getting a little low. Outside face of the rotor didn't look too bad. Cool, quick and easy pad slap. I pull the calipers and find a not so cool rust lip on the inner face of the rotors.

OK, pads and rotors, no biggie. Left side rotor doesn't want to come off. It's loose, but its catching on the parking brake shoes. I back the parking brake adjuster all the way off. Rotor still won't come off. Out comes the hammer. I persuaded the rotor off but the lining on the one shoe came off. Mother F@$&%#. The right side rotor comes off nice and easy. The lining comes off a shoe on that side too. I guess that was a moot point, since I would have done both sides anyway.

Off to the auto parts store. Pads, rotors, parking brake shoes, and parking brake hardware kit. Parking brake was a pain in the ass but I was able to do it without removal the axles. (In my drive way, using just a floor jack and jack stands for lift)

That was yesterday. At least the truck is good to go for the weekend.

(Edit) the truck has 39k on it if you're wondering.

Your the guy . I was going to use some steel stock I had here. Saw the AL you used and changed course . The twist should give some added strength . I also want to put a star lock washer under the mounting bracket bolt.

Anyways I ran out of the AL stock and now have to go back for more. ;)

I'm seeing a 5th wheel in my future. Wanted the lights spred out some. Going to use a 3 way switch. Constant on , off , back up lights. Change from inside cab.

I've got star washers for all the bolts. Great minds think alike.

Put some new shoes on her and had an alignment done to correct for the 40,000 potholes we've got in the local roads this year. Falken Wildpeak AT3W.

Sorry for the lousy pictures, but it decided to freakin' snow/rain all day!
