Upgraded my 14 Big Horn CC from non tow to 1a auto chrome power fold modded tow mirrors. Wired indicators and puddle myself to existing locations, to save $$ at dealer to add the codes. all works beautifully. I have the tow package otherwise..Well worth the cost.

Were they significantly cheaper than the Amps? How did the mounting go--any trouble with the pinch welds?
Jay
No holes in the pinch welds, I had to drill 2 holes for each motor. The mounting in general wouldn't have been terrible if the hardware to mount the motors would be better quality, I had to chase the threads in every bracket with the captive nuts. I had to mount the motors, mark for the holes then take them back off , drill the holes and mount again.
The Boards, motors and wiring harness are top quality. There are 2 motors per side, LED lighting and a 5 year warranty... No up grades necessary! Unlike AMP boards where upgrades like that are extra and only a 2 year warranty.
All for $1295

Bought a power lead for my cb radio my dad gave me. It powered up and that’s all I did to ole girl today. It was birthday time. First time they’ve been together for their birthdays. They both have it the same day. It took wayyyy to long to get back close to family.

I've turned over 50 k miles and am short on warranty so been thinking of upgrading. I've taken off all mods accept visual thinking I would trade for a 19 classic but I drug my feet and the one I was looking at got sold. Now I either have to poop or get off the pot to make a decision to bite the bullet and upgrade or put my custom lighting and wiring, tinted tails and speakers, grill and slat removed AGS back in and enjoy the WhytRam as I know and love it.. albeit coming soon without warranty..lol

Also about Hellwig not hurting offroad performance. It doesn't hurt droop but it does hurt uptravel a little, With the factory sway bar i'll have 1/2” more uptravel in this position. The tire is taller than before in my case so perhaps she will rub back there if I didn’t have that restriction.1/2 is nothing anyways.
Edited: I’m actually debating the assessment. I’m not sure the 1/2” uptravel restriction is the Hellwig as I just tested again with the factory one right now, lol. So I’ll go home and swap the Hellwig one more time and retest.

Also i take back my comment about Hellwig not hurting offroad performance. It doesn't hurt droop but it does hurt uptravel a little, With the factory sway bar i'll have 3/4" more uptravel in this position
In my case it doesn't matter much because the tire is taller anyways compared my old Falken in 315/70/17
