What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

I worked off and on all weekend installing a 30" double row led light bar. I put it inside my bumper. Wasn't to bad. Took about 4 hours. The reason it took so long is I ended up having to take the front bumper off to install it. It wouldn't just fit inside the slot. And then getting the correct bolt length and spacers to get it centered in the slot. I lost my front tow hooks in the process of adding the led light also. But I have never actually used the front tow hooks on any of my trucks. Lol.

I added a cabin air filter and I drove it. That's all. Back up camera and tow mirrors are on order.

Sunday I washed, waxed, and debadged the 4X4 on the tailgate. Used Surf City Black Edge wax and it looks.

Nice install. I thought someone sold brackets to mount a light there and keep the toe hooks. Either way, it looks great.

Cleaned up my engine cover and hit it with an adhesion promoter and couple coats of filler primer. Hopefully sand and prime again tomorrow. Cold weather is being a pain. Had to bring the cover inside to get the primer to dry properly. Wifey wasn't happy....primer stinks to high heaven.

I installed the DayStar 1" Leveling Kit. It was a bit of a pain in the ass, mostly because the sway bar links are a ***** to get off and back on, and I had to get a ride to the parts store to get a spring compressor cause the axle wouldn't drop enough on the passenger side for the coil to even get close to coming loose. Other than that I'm happy with the end result! :****: Now I just got to get an alignment...

Cleaned her up with my new array of adams supplies. The detail spray is awesome and love the great white towel, vrt tire dressing is great too. Also put on a coat of liquid glass

Put resistors in to stop my led turn signals from hyper flashing and get rid of the bulb out msg. My pillar mount for the ds came in. Just ordered the adaptor from moes.
