If we are talking looks only I prefer the quad cab. Just don't like how long the cab is on a crew. As far as functionality, of course the crew is better simply because it has more space in the back.

Do you ONLY care about looks or do you also care about function? A lot of the comments here are more about function less about looks. If looks are the main thing then QC with 6'4 as the proportions look better than a CC w a short bed. a CC with a 6'4 will be the same proportions at a CC 6'4.

I went with the best of both, CC 6'4 and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I chose quad 6'4 bed. Had one and like the looks better but have a crew 5'7 bed now and prefer the room in a crew. Perfect would be crew with 6'4 bed imo.

QC Looks better IMHO. Yea the back seat is smaller but If I need to transport adults then we take the wife's X5. Get-up-and-go is about the same with the Hemi!

I dont know if this was directed at me or not, but the QC's door panels do not include wood, metal, leather stitched materials like the front. Its not a defect. But if it were me I would feel like I was getting cheated out of some quality if I was springing for a Laramie.

true but I don't ride in the back my dog does lol. I bought the quad because of the look, the box ,bigger payload and about $2200 cheaper.so ill live without the wood and chrome in the back thanks.:roflsquared:

Another vote for crew cab 6'4" bed. And that's only because there isn't a crew cab 8 foot bed option in a 1500. Ram are you listening?

Not a fan of the CC at all so much so I did not buy a 2500 because I could not get a QC any longer.

QC all the way. :)

My preference is crew cab! I had a Quad cab for my first truck, the extra box length was nice, but I like to have extra room in the cab! 3df20d5edc0d0f12c81a7728fe3c51b9.jpg

When I had a quad, I preferred the crew.

Now I have a crew and I think the quads look awesome......

crew cab/short box heavy duty 25/3500. no brainer.i don't understand why they even make a quad anymore.

They don't make QC 2500/3500s anymore. wish they did but they dont, lucky for me they make them in the 1500s or I would have bought a Chevy QC.
Only reason I even went to a QC over the RC is for the storage the back seat offers and for the few times a year I take the dogs with us.
