At what point in the year can you no longer order a current model year truck?

Just curious when the cut off is for ordering a custom order build / configured 2015 ram? I think i may go with a crew with the 6.5' bed, and i'm planning on waiting a few more months hoping rebates and prices get better..... whats the cut off date for current models orders?

It depends on when they introduce the new model year. If ram does a update they like to introduce those early September range of there isn't anyyhing new for 2016 I would say October-November. I would say your safe up till August between July and August I would start checking with your local dealer to make sure you don't miss out.

2015 Build Out
Warren (1500 QC/CC): Build out will be in July. Last ordering will be in May (some things will be pulled early from ordering, including possible EcoDiesel).
Saltillo (1500 RC, 2500/3500/4500/5500): Build out will be in June. Last ordering period will be in April.

2016 Ordering
Warren (1500 QC/CC): Ordering will start in June (What's available will be TBD).
Saltillo (1500 RC, 2500/3500/4500/5500): Ordering will start in May (What's available will be TBD).

wow, thats crazy, the latest i'd be able to order a 2015 ram CC would be in may? I figured i'd be safe till at least july, like the poster above said.

They start switching stuff at the plants for the next model year usually mid year. If you want a 2015. There should be plenty on the lot.
