I know this subject has somewhat been beat to death but after a little search I yield no results for an answer, I prob already know the answer but has anyone ran a 325/35r22 in the rear?

I'm looking at a set of Hankook Ventus ST in a 325/35 in the rear and a 305 in the front, Only problem is I cannot find much on the specs of this tire. Its listed as manufactured but most tire dealers online do not list it. It is like a ghost tire.

I'm a little doubtful that it will fit a SRT-10 replica wheel and fit the wheel well can anyone say otherwise?

I LOVE continental performance tires. i'd get those in a heart beat. I had them on my supermoto and it was a completely different bike in the turns.

I ran a 325/60/20 on my truck at stock height with no issues, fitting on an srt may be tricky though....

It's doesn't look cool so. There's that. lol:roflsquared:
Wheels i have are 22x10, but still not sure if that is wide enough wheel for that tire hence why im looking for info and detailed specs on such a tire. If it works ill run it if it doesnt then ill stick with the 305's

Im well aware of the impact to contact patch when mounting a tire too wide for a wheel.

But why? That's my point because you can I guess? Want to be different? lol

I don't even see them on Hankooks site so I wonder if they even make them.
Sounds like a PITA to me.

Dont care about different, if i was i wouldnt be running srt wheels like everyone else, mostly cause i like a wide tire and traction on the street. Weights are close to 305 from what i have found, i already blow through what a 305 offers for street use so the added with will help, may be too much but there is a huge difference between the 285's and 305's on my truck. Plus its looking more like i cant cause they are made, just hard to find.

Oh and since when is building and setting up a customized vehicle not a PITA?

I know you understand tires but that's what I was wondering is if you are doing this for better traction. A 325 especially with a 35 series is not going to help.
You worried about traction. You need to go down in rim size and up in tire height.

But looking at 325s in 22" I can't find anybody that sells them. Maybe call a manufacturer and maybe they can make it custom. Pretty sure it won't cheap..lol

And yes I understand moded a car is a PITA. I'm going through it right now with my GTP trying to fit some Brembo brakes. lol

Was'nt trying to be rude buddy.

and if you want WIDE tires. Step down to 20s and get some of these.

Dropping to 20's is def in the buck of options... I have 2 sets of 22's so just gotta decide if i wasted my $$$ on 22's or not... im looking into 20" wheel and tire combos too

Yeah, there's going to be more options in 20s at least for taller tires that will look good on a truck.

You might have to go outside of DOT tire sizes. Get into the super crazy tire sizes you see on custom vehicles...
