Been reading about the new 2017 Rams and it would appear there will be a Hellcat in our future. Already stating MSRP of $55K. Pretty exciting!

I honestly would be fine with a 6.1 or even 6.4. Tuned more for the "hot rod" feel but still able to tow and hual as a truck should. Through some 35" mudders...... Pure ecstasy.

I wouldn't hold your breath for a hellcat Ram, they can barely make enough blowers to complete the Callengers and Chargers then with the Grand Cherokee coming out they will be hard pressed to fill those orders.

I dunno about that much power in an ass light pick up. Seems like a recipe for disaster.
But damn it would be fun!

I'd settle for the standard fare 6.4 thats not detuned in a R/T package available in all cab sizes!!

I'm just really wondering what ram is doing...seems like ford and Chevy are already making some changes to their 2015 models, and we are still working with our 4th Gen rams from 2009 (I guess you can also says 2013).

Don't want ram to fall behind because this type of competition is a good thing because it keeps things honest, but I would like to at least heat something on the next Gen ram.

Reguardless of what the next truck looks like, I have roughly 2 more years to pay off my truck and I will pay it off so I can get a charger...muahahaha!!

5th Gen will be the 2017's,,, Nothing significant coming with ~2016's~.

While we are all 'wishing out loud', I'd like to see a Penta-based 4.8L V-8 with DI,,, Should be good for more HP and TQ than the current 5.7's with better MPG to boot.

But, as long as folks continue to automatically open their billfolds at the mere mention of the word 'Hemi', I don't know what they would call it,,,,

The current technology in the 5.7 is pretty dated,,, They've taken it about as far as it can go (with perhaps the exception of adding DI)

Jeep hellcat for 1 year only (2018) then come 2019 all hemi motors are gone and switched to twin turbo v6s like ecoboost. Pretty disappointing

Oh there is here in Alberta, lots of people willing to pay over 100k for trucks, oil might be slow but that's what loans and debt are for right?
You guys pay 100k for a normal 1500?

i know guys who dont even bat an eye at $85,000. $15,000 more for something thats either limited or if there is 15G worth of better than the next guys... they will pay.

there is a new Ram 2500 at the dealer where i got my my Ram. They're asking online: $82,450. with tax its about $93-94,000 not counting the extras the dealers charge.
