I read a few post on the sensor having issue with Rain ex , But I did not use Rain Ex and now am getting the low fluid light, :O I did get a Message light when the fluid was low, Refilled it a few days ago and not the light comes on a minute or 2 after I start the truck ! Is it easy to pull out the sensor? Do you pull the tank off or just drain and clean the sensor.. BUGs me seeing the light on lol .

Can you let a Dodge dealer mess with it?
You should still be under warranty?

Good idea, I can let the dealer do it and I will be dropping off my truck to do winter tire change over and maybe boards same time.
From the diagram I saw it looks like it is in the front and may have to remove the grill to get to it,, Easier to let someone else do it lol

Thanks again

Rich

I agree, if you're still under 3/36 warranty, then let the dealer deal with it. Yes it is very easy & quick to do. Remove grille & it's just below the top of the bumper. Can even partially remove the reservoir & avoid spilling as much.

To be honest i would prefer to have a low cooling fluid warning light than a low wiper fluid warning light ....

To install a coolant fluid level sensor is a few bucks, some German cars have it.
My guess is that there is lack of interest as selling parts for rebuilding a overheated engine is $$$.

One of the symptoms of the bad sensor is the light comes on when it's cold outside. I've already replaced mine once and had it do that to me this winter when it was about -15. It's a $5 part and 15 minutes work to replace it so I still use the good washer fluid.

Thanks for the info.. I did order 1 OEM of E bay about $2.50 ,, I do plan on getting my winter tires swapped at the dealer and if they will not cover under warranty
I will do it, or may do it if the weather gets better.. No garage :(
