Hey guys!! I've been hearing this strange sound under my truck. Is it something I should worry about? Is there a way I could fix it? I tried to post in the right subforum but it didn't allow me. Thank you :)

Your not using that water thin 20wt oil are you ?
If so change it to a full synthetic 30wt and a quality synthetic media filter .
Take an oil sample and send it to Blackstone labs.

You can go to www.blackstonelab.com
They will send you a free sample bottle .
It's a great way to see if you have something going out . They will give you a comparison of other engine models like yours and give you expert advice on what the #s mean.

Anyone? I switched the oil and still have the same problem. Would torque converter rattle like that? Low tranny fluid or bad filter? The truck like to hesitate a lot and hard shift

It currently has 102,000. I got it at 90,000 so I didn't go a full tune up. I replaced the plugs and wires, not the coils. And the IAT sensor, and I cleaned the throttle body. I still can't find where that sound is coming from and I'd hate to trade the truck in

Well I pulled my plugs to check their condition and low and behold, the plugs in cylinder 1 had oil around the threads. They seem to be firing though. And the electrode looks fine. Any ideas?? Thanks :)
