Hi guys. I'm new to posting here. I got a 2014 2WD RCSB 5.7 and I'm about to do some small upgrades, so I'm asking a bunch of questions before I spend my dough. Though I love both lifted and lowered trucks, I'm an in-the-middle kind of guy myself. However, for my tastes, the stock height is just a tad high. Soooo, I'm wanting to do a very slight drop, still keep somewhat of a rake, and just take the edge off the higher-than-Keith-Richards stance. I was going to go with the GF 2/3 kit, but I'm thinking of going with Crown Suspension 1" drop springs in the front and 2" drop springs in the back and calling it good. Oh, I'm going to add/replace the sway bars with Hellwig's too. But, that's pretty much it. Anybody see any problems/issues with this idea?

I've tried to contact Crown several times and never gotten a response. They have yet to answer any of my calls or emails.

Yeah, I'm really on the fence about them. Practically no reviews of their products, and what is there is very mixed. No return contact is a big red flag. I might have to spring (Get it? "spring"? Ha!) for the GF kit. It's just so expensivo, and I luvs my munny. Won't kill me though, and I don't want to sacrifice quality when it comes to this

Same with me.

OP;
The Groundforce lowers the rear 2". makes it level, but still look good IMHO.

I've got the Crown Suspension 1/2 drop. Rides and handles like a dream.

I think I'm liking the idea of the GF 2" rear drop with some helper bags. That should give me the look I want with confidence and good functional support as well. I don't tow anything, but occasionally might have a thing or two in the back

Okay, Booms just threw in a monkey wrench haha! I do like the look of Graygoose's white RCSB. That's pretty much exactly the look I have in mind

It drove like new, and I wished I did back then added the Airlift 1000's...30-40 minute install on springs. Looked really cool, without the hassle of tearing into the front suspension and do an alignment.

Yeah I think you just made my mind up. That looks killer! White with full blackout trim is such a good look! Mine's Granite, so I'm going with Granite/Chrome. Thinking about keeping same tire size or going to 285s, but that's for another thread ha!

LOL, that's how it starts. That color combo would look killer as well.

Be sure to post pics.

But the GF is such a cosmetic changer, cheaper, yet well worth it IMHO.

I have been thinking about doing a mild 1"/2" set up but have been on the fence. I dont feel like dealing w/ the issues of a 2/4.

Booms, do you have any side pics of your truck w/ the Crown Springs?

Dammit Booms! :) That is EXACTLY how I thought a 1/2 would look, and that's exactly the stance I'm wanting. I'm gonna try the CS springs. It'll be a couple weeks probably, but when I get 'em on I'll report in with pics. Thanks for all the help everybody!

It's sexical ain't it? :Big Laugh:

Make sure You measure before and after, because You'll swear nothing happened...until You see it next to another RCSB.
Also, it takes a few weeks for the springs to settle in. I love how My truck looks and rides. :D

Most definitely. The height you got it at should be factory, simply for the sake of aesthetic value if nothing else. It's not terrible off the lot, but a slight drop is all it takes to make the yoga pants sticky. Just enough to get rid of the cat in heat look

Did you need to swap out anything else? A buddy I work with, who's done a lot of suspension work, said he thinks with such a mild drop I should just put in the springs, get an alignment, and it should be g2g
