Looking at picking up a Ground Force 9984 2/3 drop kit, Belltech 10103I front shock good for 1-3" of drop, Spohn adjustable rear upper and lower control arms, Cutterup Cummins Performance extreme adjustable panhard bar, and a hellwig rear sway bar.

Need to do a little more homework before committing to this project, but that's my thoughts right now.

Anyone else that has dropped their 4x4 with a Ground Force kit please chime in and give me some pointers, issues, anything you would've done different.

The Belltech front shocks don't work on a 4wd but the stock shocks work just fine with the GF 2" front spring drop. If you want a shock upgrade then go with any stock length strut, I'm running the Rancho 9000XL shocks (RS999808) with my 4.5" front spring/spindle drop and they ride great and have adjustable valving.

I dropped my adjustable Spohn upper arm off at Rob's to see if he could make a replacement for my damaged one so he's got the measurements on the upper arm and I'll probably be giving him one of my lower Spohn arms next week if you wanted to get a complete set of arms from him. I know he's already made an upper arm for Rick off my arm.

I've run this kit on my last 2 Rams, and just went with the lowering kit and Hellwig rear swaybar. Truck rides good as it sits, so I never messed with adding the adjustable panhard bar or control arms. The front shocks you listed are also 2wd only, so they will not work on your truck.

Alright good to know. Scratch the Belltech front shocks.

I forgot that Rick said he was waiting for some upper control arms from cutterup. I will wait and see along with the lowers. Thanks for letting me know

I have run 305/50/20 tires and 275/60/20 tires on mine without any rubbing.

What tires were on the 2011 in the pic

Cooper Zeon LTZ. Loved that tire because it was more of a sporty all terrain tread. Worked perfect in the sand, but still had a sporty look to it on the street.

I was thinking towards Nitto NT420S in a 305/50R20. Good price and seems to be a really good performing tire

The 305/50/20 tire looks good with this stance. I've run 420S tires on 4 of my other Rams as well, and they are a good tire also. I think you will be happy with the setup.

What are guys running for tire pressures in the 305/50R20?

I ran 32psi for traction. That truck had 4.56 gears and a 3000 stall converter, so traction was an issue off the line.

Stock front links, and Ground Force has you redrill a new upper mounting hole on the rear to use the factory rear links.

Did you have rub issues on the 305?

I want to keep the same tire height wise, want to get a wider tire. Have been looking at the 295/60r20 as well. From what I've read people are saying anything over 285 will cause issues?

Truck is 4x4 staying at stock ride height.
Tires are stock 275/60r20 right now.

Have mine installed and I definitely agree with you doing the trackbar relocation bracket, and the adjustable sway bar links. I will be doing that as well.
This feels like seasickness! Almost like the passenger rear shock or spring are weak. :puke:

So, I will be installing those two extra things first and see how it goes.

Other than that, I love the setup and can't wait for the wheels.
