Hey guys I've changed my set up. I'm back to stock height on 22x12s. Front is perfect height. No rubbing or issues. I'm looking to lower the back like 1 1/2 to 2 inches what's the best way to do that. Cut a little or the stock springs(how much) or get a set of springs just afraid of mcgaughys being too low.
Thanks.

Cutting the rear springs is very easy and free if you have a cutoff wheel. Start my cutting 1 coil off and see how you like it.

How much you think 1 coil will give me?

Probably around 1". I've cut 1 coil, then 1.5 then 2 then 2.5.

2.5 coils off gave me 3.75" drop on my 2015 cc. 1.5" coils off gave about 1/4" rake.

I have 2" drop springs on mine. Sits perfectly with still very minimal rake.

Your front is stock? What size tire and offset on the 22x12? I went with 20x12 but kinda wish I did 22x12 now.

Yea all stock. 22x12 -44 offset with 3/8 spacers so more like a -52. Running a 305/45 nitto 420s

Not necessarily soliciting, but I'm thinking about taking out my 2" lowering springs from my 2014 4x4 Sport Crew Cab.

If interested let me know.

I'm going to be using the GroundForce 2" inch lowering kit.
I was told by Moe's Performance that this gives the truck the truest 2" drop and rides really well since it's just not springs being replaced, but the rear shocks and rear coils.
It's a better ride than replacing just the springs, makes sense.

Ok if I cut my stock rear...

How much load capacity does 1-2 coils remove? It's only 1300 lbs to begin with I think payload wise.
