Gonna do my front springs but not sure whats the best way to get the top ball joint outa the spindle. use a seperator tool and risk tearing up the boot or just wack the control arm with a big old hammer. any ideas will be used.

When i put my bilsteins in we used a mini sledge and a bar to knock it lose. just gotta be careful doin it that way if you have cv joints cuz if it drops too far they will separate and its a ***** getting em back together.

Just wack the upper control arm where the ball joint goes thru. That's how I do it. Always works.

Loosen the nut on the top ball joint. Leave the nut threaded on at the bottom a few threads. Take a sledge and hit the spindle. It should pop loose. You can also tap the bottom of the bolt a few times as well to get it to pop....
