using this kit, has anyone had any problems installing it?
is everything included in the kit?

i was wondering how the lowering is achieved? springs in front, springs in rear?

any advice would be appreciated.
im looking at the BT 2/4 kit, and the mcgaughy's 2/4 (spindles/springs).

how low can you go on the 2011 1500 but keep the stock 20" rims/tires?

again, thanks for any help or info.

I shopped for a long time looking for the same answers you are. I eventually went with the Mcgaughy's kit springs front and rear, but comes with track bar relocator and new sway bar end links. But I did order the belltech sp shocks. A little more expense but I think it will be worth it.

Im not sure on the ease of installation cause me and a friend are doing that tomorrow.

I have a 2011 Express.

feel free to offer your opingions after you do the install.
im still deciding on which kit to purchase.
the price for the belltech is definitely swaying me right now, and i havent seen too many complaints on the ride.
but the mcgaughy kit (with the spindles) isnt too bad either.

This will be great to find out. Just bought a 2012 Express. Was wondering about 2/3 drop kit and if the stock tires will clear.

i ended up buying the mcgaughy's deluxe kit (2/4 with spindles/springs) for the same price as the belltech kit wouldve been.
will be first weekend in december before i can get it installed. but according to mcg, shouldnt have any trouble with stock 20" tires clearing with a 2" drop in front *(using spindles or springs).

Doesn't the McG kit have shock relocators in the rear?

it had the dogbones, and the new bracket for the trac-bar.
so unless the kit was missing something (which i looked over the item list), i guess the kit didnt have them.
only replaced the rear shocks because you recommended it when i called. i even asked about the front shocks too, you said the front would be fine.

not all the rams have the hemi, but to answer your question, mine is 2wd.

LOL I realize not all Rams have the Hemi (and that engine size is indifferent in suspension threads)- but I was poking fun at the default info we provide on our trucks in user profile. What year is my truck and what motor do I have... that does not always narrow down if/when a users post is relevant to my truck. The "other" Ram forum is the same - nobody seems to want to say 2x or 4x and with suspension it sure makes a difference.

If you guys haven't done the installs yet. Can you make a how-to guide in the DIY section, when you do. Alot of new peeps have questions on how hard the installs are, and what they have to do. Would make it alot easier for them and others to see the differences in the kits, and might attract some new lowered members! :********:
