Biggest tire - 2wd CC w/2" rear drop

I have a 2015 white SLT 2wd CC with a 2" rear drop and desperately need to upgrade these 17" wheels. I think 20" wheels are too small and 24" might be a little stiffer than I want. I will not be adjusting the suspension.

I'm thinking: 305/40r22 or 305/45r22 with these. Also, are these wheels heavy and/or junk? Thanks.

I ran KMC slides, 305/45/22 rubber with the GF 2" rear drop that was closer to 3". Mind you this was a Reg cab, I had zero issues.

Thanks. Is there much difference in the clearance of a reg cab and CC?
