2 month old rear shock that came with the Belltech kit . Will the factory rears work on a 4" drop in the rear?

Isn't there a warranty on those?

You should be fine running the factory shocks. I've been running the stockers with my Mcghaughys 4" drop for the past 2yrs or so.

I guess back to stock shocks again. I got everything via Moe's. Should I return them to Moe's or Belltech?

If the shock is bad, just contact Belltech to let them know. They will just ask for a copy of your receipt and replace it for you at no cost.

Ok, but I don't want a replacement. I want a refund on all 4 , if they are this bad this quick I'll go stock for now and go Q1a later.

Unfortunately, neither Belltech or Moe's can offer a refund for a partial kit. It's not normal for a shock to go bad in short time, so I would just let them replace it under warranty. Those shocks come with a 2 year warranty, and of the hundreds of kits we have sold, I only know a handful of customers that had any kind of problem with the shocks. If you do not want to run them, then the best option is to just throw them up for sale on the forum after you get it replaced.

why would it be leaking at the top? The top is just a dust cover. the hydraulics are in the bottom tube. I think it looks like something just dripped onto the outside of the shock. If you wanted to, you could cut the upper tube off, and replace it with a colorful rubber bellows-style boot.

I'd get them replaced under warranty then turn around and flip them to put towards the QA1s.

Unless the shock is constructed differently I wondered the same thing.

not really sure either, but there is no tension from the shock on that side.

When I traded my truck and removed my QA1 shocks, I had a definite wetness around the body of all the shocks, which really surprised me, as there was no evidence of any problems in the ride quality.
Unlike your dead shock, even with the obvious fluid loss- the QA1's still functioned normally
A phone call to technical support still do not explain the situation
