Pic of truck coming soon...

I am almost positive I have the McGaughy's (sp?) drop kit on my truck. I purchased the truck the way it is and I want to go a touch lower. If anything just a bit lower in the rear. It has the progressive style drop springs. If I want to drop it a half inch or a full inch more in the rear, what Would I need to do? I hear of people cutting a full coil off of the progressive side to get the intended spring height. I am not sure exactly and so I wanted some opinions on this if you guys could help me out.

Thanks!

You need to cut off the top of the rear spring. 1 full coil will give about 1/2"-3/4" of drop.
