I am about to start setting aside time and $$ for my lowering project. From what I gather I am stuck with the 2-4" drop. I may bag it in the future so is there a kit that would work best if I go that route down the road?

My other question is rims. I am looking all over. I am trying to avoid the used rim route. I want to get a 22" rim and dont want it sticking out at all. I want to make sure it doesnt rub that fender lip. Also, where is everyone finding rims. I have a friend working at discount and he had me look on discounts site and there is only 2 options for the 2014 ram express 4door. If i search by the bolt pattern 5x139.7 I believe, it give me more but they are crap and mostly off road style. Am I missing something? are people running some kind of adapter for a different pattern size? Do I have the wrong size? Cause if I look at say a 5X114.3 it gives me way more options. Thanks guys

IMO the R/T wheels looks awesome on the 4dr trucks. Why not try to find some used ones and put those on? Or do you just want aftermarket wheels?

I think the Dub Skillz would be killer with a drop!

I couldn't find them on a 4th Gen Ram, but this will give you an idea...

Yea I cant find anything on Discount in a 22". My friend said discount doesnt really carry a ton of larger size wheels. Even the 20" rims are slim and way overpriced. I guess I will have to find some elsewhere. Anyone have any suggestions that wont break the bank. I am trying to stay at or below 300$ a rim if possible

Give them a call, they can order a bunch of rims they don't show on their website...

Use CARID as a search tool.... Lots of wheels and can filter by style, make, manuf. color, price etc etc...

Edit: there isn't much out there for a budget or semi budget minded wheel in 22". They are not cheap by any means, trust me I have been looking sine I bought the R/T and so far settled on the SRT wheels but still looking for the wheel and look I want for 2k and under... the options are slim

It took me over a year to find the wheels I wanted and after a year they went in to be powdercoated black and the inserts painted bright orange; on the new truck the inserts got painted a matching green. 5x5.5/5x139.7 is just a pain to find wheels in but they are out there and you have to scour lots of different websites to find what is available. I ended up finding D'Vinci wheels on a Canadian website that were what I was looking for.

My rims are really said to be a off road rim but the offset is what you need to look at

If you can find a local truck club or something you can find used rims for great prices. I think Instagram/Facebook is good too. But if you absolutely want new, I say eBay but shipping can add more $$. That's how I got mine, through Instagram.. I was worried about the wheels sticking out to much too but in the end it was a good fit. These are 22s on 305/45 tires. I'm pretty sure these were 5x5.5 offset.

22" with my drop, no rub, no scrub. Make sure you use "Performance Shocks" or it will bottom out.

I had the same issue with my truck, lowered rams just aren't the fad lately so not many companies make wheels for them. I spent months looking online at different wheels and didnt find much I liked in a positive offset that would keep the rims tucked under the fender lips. I ended up with SRT10 replicas in a 20x9 matte black to get the stance/look I wanted. I would have honestly preferred something like a hellcat replica rim in a pattern/offset that would fit but without going to custom wheels and spending way more that wasnt happening.

I got my replicas off bbwheels .com for $597 to my door last year which beat anything I found on ebay or craigslist by a long shot. I have 4k miles so far on the rims and no issues other than I ordered the wrong pressure sensors off amazon so the tpms light is on.
