I asked about having these made a while back and they were working on the adjusters then. After talking with them they now leave the parking brake cable bracket off of one bar....saves them a few pennies and looks cleaner too.
These things are solid....I have no worries about hurting them under any conditions.

Keeps the rear axle centered as the vehicle is lowered or in most cases lifted
I'm sure the are also stronger and the look to have a grease able busing as well

Ability to recenter the wheel, urethane bushings for better handling and response, you can set pinion angle for better bite at the track, etc.
