There's the front bell tech 2" drop springs on eBay for $160, I figured this is a lot cheaper than $400 or something like that, but my question is if I used those springs and lowered the front, would I be able to cut my rear springs and it be level and ride okay?

You can cut them, but the ride will most likely be more stiff

I just figured to get the legit shocks up front it would help, with the engine and all that weight on it. There's not quiet as much weight in the back..

But my dad just said the only place around that can replace the front springs (apparently we don't have the tools) wants $800. That's the kit and install for it.

$800 to replace front springs? Hell no! You can do that in your driveway. Just go to autozone and rent a spring compressor and whatever specialty tools you need. But it's mainly just basic hand tools

And if you lower your front 2" then you're gonna have to cut the rear 4" to be level(unless you already have 2" drop springs in the rear) and I've never really heard of anybody cutting the factory rear springs 4"

I have the ground force drop springs in front and cut 2 1/2 coils in back. This got me about 3/5 drop and it rides great. Just remove bump stops and look into replacing shocks in the future and you will be happy.

Man I paid $280 bucks for my 2/4 belltech kit with the good shocks and stops from Summit... They price matched Jeggs and had the kit on hand to ship is why I ordered from Summitt. I guess what Im sayin is spend a few extra dollars and get the whole kit and have it right.
