Sooo, this truck has got me thinking! Black out the 24's, 4/6 drop, and 285/35/24's!

Minus the steps

So, what do you guys think about the tires? To thin? Wear fast?

Here are my options

Looks pretty good IMO. But it would need a few more subtle black pieces to tie together with.

I agree. Will look bad ass!

Looks pretty good. That Ram looks like it needs a bit more tire though.

I wouldn't do black wheels on your truck. You have a lot of chrome on your truck so id just leave the wheels chrome.

And that's what I have planned. Color matched grill shell with black inserts. JJ style heads black and silver, and black vinyl wrapped roof.

what program or website you use to get that tire info?
I believe it was 1010tires.com

The tires shown on my truck has a 4" side wall (305/35/24). To achieve the stance I want. The 305's are to wide and woo rub like crazy

I think it will look badass too but dang you gonna have some rubberbands hahaha :p
I guess a trip to the tire shop it's in order. I don't want rubber bands/pancakes

Future mods will fix that. And the wheels are being painted regardless.

That Gmc is ugly
To each his own

I ripped this post on my cell at work. Forgive me for any misspelled words. Damn auto correction, LoL....

I like the look your going for. I would love have my truck that low but it would never make it up my drive way in one piece. I'm not a be fan of the steps on lowered truck are they staying

I think that'll look good but you need some more tire profile IMO. But I do like the black wheels on it.

That Ram looks very wrong to me. Just entirely lacking something.

I love the stance of the GMC. But it's otherwise stock, kind of... boring.

Its the stance that makes the GMC so bad ass with out needing a bunch of crap done to it.

The nerf bars are killing the Rams style, should be illegal to put nerf bars on a lowered truck...looks rediculous!! but lowered with black wheels looks very nice!! Between the two tho the GMC has my vote....

Jeez.... The steps were on the truck before I lowered it. Even with the drop, my wife still needs the steps. Parking next to a 3rd gen with a 2/4 drop, the 3rd gen is lower. Once I get the time, I will lower it more, and take the steps off. This wasnt a test to see which one looks better. It was to get the opinion of you guys on the stance and wheel color choices...

Well I had mine lowered. I got tired of bottoming out on bumps and squirrelly back end in curves. So I put stock springs back in plus a 2" level.

Anyone else lowered bottom out?
