Nice! I have heard that cutting the coils can actually compromise the stength, it would prolly be better off if you bought some drop coils, I don't think they are too expensive, or you might could find a full used lowering kit secondhand somewhere! Nice truck!

yeah if u take heat to the coils they will become weak.if u cut them and not too much no harm at all.i want to do a 2/4 drop down the road but this will do for now.

so with those wheels and tires you don't have any rubbing? are you 2 wheel drive?

im 2wd no rubbing but its only the rear ive lowered.up front is kind of tight but i have about 3/8" clearance now between wheels and upper a arm
