Hi Everyone!

Been lurking for a while now and just signed up to ask about the wheel/tire combo i'm thinking about on a lowered ram. I have a '13 QC 2WD and am thinking about getting the Belltech complete kit to drop my truck.

I was wondering how a 305/50/20 would fit on a 20x9 0 offset wheel. I want something that sits flush with the fenders but looks wide from the rear of the truck. Am I going to rub at all? If so, what setup would you recommend instead? I want to have some meat on the tires

Another option is just to drop the rear a bit, but i think there would be too much wheel gap in front still. I've attached a photo of the kind of stance i'm looking for. He says those are 20x12 and only lowered the rear but that wheel gap looks less than i have currently with the stock 20's. Also in looking up those wheels in 20x12 they're a -44 offset which seems like would rub like crazy if it was dropped right?

Thanks in advance.

I think he may be right about the stock front height. Those flares may make it look lower than it actually is. What wheels do you have now? When I was lowered on the stock 20's with 305/50/20's my tires poked out of the fenders a little bit. If you get those size tires with 0 offset they will poke out a bit for sure. I currently have 0 offset wheels on my truck and the lip of the rim pokes out of the fender.

Thanks Passiv, do you have any photos you can show me of your truck? I have the stock silver 20x8's on the original sized tires.

The whole reason i'm thinking about doing this is because I had been wanting a 4x4 for a long time and think it's weird to lift a 2wd super tall but i want to make my truck stand out. I think doing a drop or just leveling the rear with some wide wheels/tires would look nice and go with the silver/black theme i'm doing.

This is a 17x9 with a 0 offset wheel. I'll post pictures of the whole truck later.

Here is with the tire. It's a 265/70/17 though so it's a narrow tire.

That's the whole truck.

All done! Here's what it looks like now with the belltech lowering kit and 20x9 +0 wheels and 305/50/20 tires :)

I had problems rubbing with the SRT-10 wheels and tires with the Belltech kit. It's one of the reasons I took it off.
