Hi,
First post to ask this question which I know is not common as google could find no answers. Also, I don't know Jack about suspensions and originally planned to run unmodified if not for this height problem.
I really DON'T want to lower my (haven't bought one yet) 1500 4x4 but as the title states, it won't fit into my underground garage unless I go lower. I Don't want want to give up off road performance either though. Maybe will to lose a little bit of off road ability but would prefer not.
I tried the Limited 4x4 with Air Suspension. Being able to lower the ride by 2" using this setup got me pretty close to being able to get in. I'd need to lower it at least 2" more though.
Is the Air Suspension the possible solution here? Can I lower the Entry/Load mode and or the overall ride height but then still get back the ride height I need in Off Road mode?
Or is there a better solution that bypasses the Air Suspension? This would save me a lot of money potentially on having to by a Limited or Laramie to get that option. I'm OK either way if that is the best solution.
I hope you can help. I MUST have a 1500 3.0 and I need to complete the sale by 12/31. Thanks!!!
