I have a 2013 Black Express RCSB with a 2/4 McG drop with Bilstein HDs.

Currently running the factory Goodyear 275-60/20 on the factory rims but the tires need to be replaced.

Going to get the Goodrich KO2s and here is the question:

The 275-60 is 32.9" tall

The 275-65 is 34.0" tall

The 285-65 is 34.5" tall

Frankly, I'd like to go to the 285-65, but I'm guessing that's not gonna clear in the front with the 2" drop. I'm sure the back will be fine even with the 4" drop.

What I was thinking was putting the OEM front springs only in to run the 285-65s. Good idea? Bad? I really don't want to go back to stock ride height.

Failing this, suggestions? Think the 275-65s will clear fine?

Thanks

Why do you want to put a taller than stock tire on a lowered truck, an all terrain at that?

Why do you want big all terrain tires on your lowered truck?

razor1....I LOVE the way that your truck looks! I just ordered a 17 R/T and have been following some of your posts. I've already ordered some parts for it (well they are for 15/16 trucks, I hope the 17's are the same). I'm wondering if ordering the Blue Streak was a mistake? White was my second choice. Oh well, to late now. Anyway, love your truck. Is there a thread somewhere with bigger and more pictures of it?

Sorry for hijacking the thread.

I think he ordered his springs from Belltech, could be wrong though.

Yup, that's why I'm considering going up a bit...I live in NH, so snow is a consideration...

love the look of that Detroit drop truck!!!
I run AT's in the winter. I've got a 4x4 with the 2/3 GF kit installed. My Winter AT's are 275/60/20. No fitment issues at all.
