I've been thinking lately about what I want to do with the rake on my truck. I had originally wanted to lift the front with some coil spacers, but I'm not completely convinced since I've seen some damn fine lowered trucks. If i go low, i'm thinking about a 2"/4" drop, but i'm worried it'll be too low for me.

My main concern is if (when) i get leveled, I don't want to be nose up when I have a load in it. At most, it'll be a couple dirt bikes and a few full ice chests, but not always that much.

Any input would be welcomed, pictures would be great. Thanks.

Removing your overloads will help with the rear end. I did that with 1.5" drop shackles and it is pretty much level. No sag in it either with some weight in the bed

4th gens have coils in the rear

Should you raise the front or drop it you could get timbren bumpstops
That way should you have a load that would drop the rear the timbrens would help
No airing up or down, just set it and forget it basically

I haven't lowered mine yet. If I do, i was looking into the Belltech 963sp. It's a 2" drop in the front and 4" in the back.

Blackout I know that one I want a r/t so bad but I have to have a 4 door. I wish they'd come out with a quad cab r/t like they did with the srt10. I'd love a 6.1r/t in a quad cab that would be sick

Every time I see a lowered Ram, I think "It can't be THAT bad of a ride, I should just do it"

So I've been going back and forth trying to decide on the 2/4 drop or just 2" in the rear. After researching the crap out of this, I found that a bunch of people were having issues with the rear end shifting to one side because the Belltech kit doesn't have new sway bar end links. Anyone else hear of this?

Or get a McGaughy's and buy the belltech shocks seperate. not that big a difference in price. McG kit comes with bracket to center axle.

It is a fact, if you lift or lower an axle with a panard bar, it will shift one way or another. It's just how it works. You can compensate for it on some vehicles by drilling a new mounting hole.

McG's is the only lowering kit that I know of that gives you a bracket to relocate the panard bar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the rear sway bar though.

The other option is having a bar modified / custom adjustable bar made.
