Hey, I'm a new number and have question concerning the 2/4 drop kit from belltech. I have a 2013 1500 quad cab and really wanna get her dropped fairly low. I read somewhere that if I put the lowering coils from a single cab on my quad that it wit sit lower due to the difference in weight. Has anybody heard that? If so please let me know as I wanna order my kit ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Yes the single cab springs will drop a quad cab lower, but I would do a lot of research b4 lowering as the 2013 need to have a piece cut out to make room for the drive shaft

Do you know what piece it is that needs to be cut? I've been having a lot of trouble trying to really find any research when it comes to lowering. They the only thing I ever really find is people cutting the 2/4 drop to make a 3/5.

Yeah if I remember correctly you have to cut a piece of the cross member so it don't hit the drive shaft, I don't know from 1st hand because I have a rcsb

Thanks, I really appreciate. I really wanna get it dropped but figured I'd do a little bit of research before I screw something up.

hello I'm new to this. I installed a #964 belltech 2/4 drop on my 2015 express. I'm having problems with it tho every time I make a left something scrapes really bad like if I'm hitting something. Sounds pretty similar to what was said from maple. Do I have to do the same I took some time and got under the truck and the driveshaft hits slightly on aluminum plate that protects the gas tank.

Just bend the metal away from drive shaft slightly. Had same problem on regular cab. Easy fix.

I did the 964SP on a 2015 RCSB this past weekend. No cutting. No rubbing. I will have to keep an ear/eye out.

Edit: I heard something rubbing when making a left today. Sounded like chuffing. Nothing horrible but I will have to get under there and bend something.
