So I have a 2011 r/t with 26's on it. I want to close the gap in the wheel well. I was wondering how much I can lower it with out rubbing and losing my good ride. Even with the rims the truck rides great.
Any suggestions?

how much gap do you have now? you might only be able to do the 2 inch rear drop because if you lower the front you might rub with the big wheels

what tire size are you using?

That's more important than the actual rim size. If the tires are close to the same height as stock then you'll be just fine with a 2/4 assuming the offset and width is close to stock as well.

What size tires was that guy using though? If the tires are 33" tall or shorter it'll be fine assuming the offset and width is similar to stock.

If you have a real low pro you should have no problem I had 295/30/24 on a 3/5 drop and still had about3/4-1" gap

Ok sorry for late response been so busy. So I wound up doing the 2/3. 5 no rub no bottom out. The front is a tad bit lower so from the side it looks like a little bit of a rake look but from the front or back totally even. Looks really good in my opinion with the rims. Any lower and I will have serious problems lol.
