My questions are....

1. What is the difference between the Belltech 963sp and 963nd?

2. The Belltech comes with shocks, while the McGaughy's (44051) comes with a track-bar re locator but no shocks. The shocks seem more important. Am I wrong?

3. Can you buy a track-bar re locator separately if you go with bell tech? If someone sells them, what is their website?

Thanks

Chris

Good questions!

I don't know much about drops, but we have a few 4th genners that have dropped theirs.

On the track bar relocator - check with Myoung84 - he did a mod to relocate it himself.

1. I know the two part numbers, one is Street Performance shocks (963sp) while the other is the cheaper Nitro Drop series (963nd).

2. Shorter shocks are important to maintain a comfortable ride. If you re-use the stock shocks, they will always be compressed, causing it to feel quite firm. The track bar relocator is an important piece as well, it prevents the rear end from shifting to the passenger side wheel well after the drop. However, from what I've read, it's not too difficult to drill a new hole for the trackbar and sway bar end links.

3. So far, most of the modifications for the Belltech kit have been members modifying the kits themselves.

Here's what I found out:

1.) The part number 963 is just the springs by themselves. Part number 963nd includes all four nitro active shocks, and 963sp includes all four street performance shocks(which are better than Nitro's in my opinion). I would advise going with part number 963sp, it is top of the line shocks, and will give you the best ride quality.

2.) Not sure about this but someone might know w/ a 4th gen, but I would say the Belltech is the one to go with.

3.) I can't find them seperately, but you might could ask our vendor, 3rdStrikePerformance.

Hope this helps

Yes do NOT get the Nitro shocks they are way too weak for our full-size trucks. Had them on mine and the front end would nosedive and caused me to hit the fenders. Got the Belltech Street Performance ones on now and they are AWESOME
